About Our School

Gale Elementary operates like a family. Gale supports students academically, socially, and emotionally in a safe, community environment. We are a preschool through fifth grade school, and we emphasize respect and high-expectations for all our students.

Our classrooms are collaborative, with students helping each other learn and achieve. Our school sets high academic goals, while remembering that our main goal is well-rounded students. We understand the role of physical education, fine arts, and music in supporting our students' learning. We also emphasize a well-rounded academic education for our students, by teaching standards in all our CORE subjects: Reading, Writing, Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, Health, and more.

Gale has a strong, experienced teaching staff with more than half having earned their National Board Certification, and all our teachers being Highly-Qualified. Cumulatively, we have over 400 hundred years of teaching experience.

Our school emphasizes the Tiger Traits: creativity, sense of humor, flexibility, responsibility, kindness, and more. Gale Elementary is a Kind Kids School, where kindness is recognized informally throughout the week, and formally at our weekly Tiger Trait assemblies.
