Author Kim Tomsic visited Gale and shared her award-winning book, "The Elephants Come Home." This touching true story portrays a conservationist's relationship with a frightened, hunted herd that found a home in South Africa. Gale students had many questions for the Tucson Festival of Books author during the lively discussion following the reading.

School Photos - Desert Tortoise Visit
Kindergarten students at Gale Elementary had a very special visitor in their classrooms on Mar. 5! Tommy, a 1-year-old desert tortoise, spent the day at school to help with the desert-themed lessons the kinders were learning about ahead of their field trip to Sabino Canyon the next day.

School Photos - Elementary Flag Football Championship
Gale and Vesey faced off at Santa Rita High School in an intense game, where both teams gave it their all. The match featured excellent catches, strategic plays, and remarkable efforts from everyone on the field. A big congratulations to all the boys, girls, and coaches for a well-played game filled with athleticism and outstanding sportsmanship!
